    Custody?
The mother of my grandson is going for child support which is perfectly fine. The question is there is only visitation rights checked. Should my son go for joint custody? She is already fighting for her daughters. Whom have been taken for her by their father for neglect supposedly. I see no problems yet with her care of my grandson but feel joint custody is the best way to go .

Joint Custody means that both parties have a say in how the child is raised. It doesn't necessarily mean that child lives with both parents jointly.
