What Do You Think Are the Safest Sites to Use for Free, Online Document Storage?
    Hi, All!

I'm needing to put links to documents in a couple of websites that I run. These might be PDF, Microsoft Word and other types of document files.

What are some of the best and free sites to use for that purpose, please?

    Thanks!

If you have or use hotmail, there is skydrive option - I believe now they provide 25gb space with a hotmail or live.com acct.

Open your hotmail/live acct and go to More on top of page and go down to SkyDrive.

You can always make a new acct just for that purpose.

You can pw protect it as there are public folders you can host files in as well as private folders there also.

The only way for someone to know where your public or private folders are if you give them the link.

I use it for resume's so if needed, just an email acct away.

Thank you both for the information!

Would you mind clicking on the following link and seeing if the documents can be opened by you, please?

    Testing for Documents

They concern a group with which I play and perform.

Just wanted to do a test...

    Thanks!

I don't know why they make it a two-step method to get the document/PDF, a user would have to know to click on the piece of paper icon afterwards to begin the download. Anyway the problem is that your PDF extension has an extra underscore after the file extension i.e. "Solo Comp Poster 09-10.pdf_"

Not sure if Skydrive is doing it or your file was like that when you uploaded it.

I'm not finding that underscore on either of the documents, wherever they're located, NK. I'm also able to open the documents. I don't know why they make it a two-step process, but at least the files are there.

    Thanks!

Was able to access and have the download option, it opened the download box to save - so as far as free document and sharing storage, it's there.

Hope that works out for your needs, did not comment on others suggested in link above as not tried, I don't use it often but I know it's there if/when needed.

    Hi, seahwk83!

If you were able to open the documents, that's great! I just want to make sure that it works for everyone. I have to be able to share the documents with about 85 people, or even more, depending on to whom it's being advertised.

Am also giving another site a try, right now...

    Thanks!

I just tried the following site. Wasn't pleased with it at all. Seems to be very confusing and slow.

    ADrive.com – 50GB of Free Online Storage & Backup
