    My sound on my panasonic flat 42' won't work but when we plug n the playstation 3 the sounds works

    You'll have to describe your problem better. What is the model of the TV? What is the make and models of other components connected to the TV? How are those devices connected? Is the Playstation 3 the only thing that gets sound to the TV?
