My cat got a small chickadee this afternoon and I rescued it since it fluttered twice to get away so thinking it was okay I got the cat distracted, but now the chickadee is safe and warm in the house and after an hour tries to fly, but cannot.
Any comments? Anything we can do?

Is there a wildlife haven nearby where you can take it? The bird will die if you keep it. The wing will not heal on its own.
