Signs of still been preganant after the abortion pill
I was 7 weeks pregnant, had the abortion pill by my Obgyn... took it passed 3 medium sized clots 2 days later-no more nausea or pregnancy symptoms. I don't know if I passed the fetus since I had 3 clots same day maybe 1- hours after taking the pill and didn't not feel anything pulling down from my stomach or anything -no pain at all just passed the clots which felt more just like a little bit more painful than just a regular period. I took the pill 2 weeks ago... fell great no symptoms at all! However I don't know if its me(because I was so depressed) but I feel my stomach and feel a slight movement which I don't know if it could be the fetus or not. I stopped completely bleeding about 2-3 days ago.

Before taking the pill-couldn't even drink water or eat or smell anything because I would throw up. I have a 3 year old and my pregancy with her was the same-throwing up when eating, smelling or drinking anything.

I was suppose to go back to my obgyn but had to cancel my appt due to financial circumstances.

How can I know if the pill worked on me or not since I am not able to go to the doctor for about 2 more weeks till I recover financially? I am very woorried and dreppressed because didn't want to wait too long to confirm if I am still pregnant or not.

Please assist me and based on what I stated-any possibility I could still be preganant?

    ?

Your female body has had a termination of a pregnancy, almost like a hurricane. Your hormones are out of wack, they don't know how to feel. Those pills are strong, eliminate not quite everything though. You may still pass clots, possibly a week from now. You don't feel anything moving in your stomach, that little being could not have been able to do that.

My advice. Find the money and go see your obgyn, it is critical that you do, for your mental state, and your physical state. You could possibly be suffering from post partum depression, even at this early stage. Your body wanted to carry that baby to term, but you didn't, so you are suffering through the mental tribulations of having it.

I am hoping that our expert J_9 will tune into this post and give you much better advice then I can.

tickle is right. You would not be feeling the fetus move at this early stage of pregnancy, so the slight movements you are feeling could not be a fetus. You more than likely are no longer pregnant, since you said you took the pill 2 weeks ago and just stopped bleeding 2-3 days ago.

Many women become somewhat depressed after an abortion, some depression could be triggered by postpartum hormonal changes, even at an early stage, like tickle said. Here are a couple links that will help you understand what your body is going through:

The medically induced abortion pill does not always work. This is why it is imperative to get to your doctor so that he can do an ultrasound to see if there are any products of conception remaining in your uterus.

Also, you would not be feeling the baby move this early. What you are feeling is most likely perstalysis (sp), basically it's just gas and/or food moving through the intestines.
