Is heating with electric warmer at the start and stop of the heater than gas is, does gas blow out more cold air at the start up and turn off than electric

They are both about the same. The one thing I favor of electric over gas is that you don't need extra fresh air or run the risk of carbonmonoxide poisoning or the whole house blowing up if the tank is improperly filled with propane gas.
