Platinum-ag.com. Is it a real company and trustworthy?
I am trying to find info on the legitimacy of platinum-ag.com. I have been approached to invest with this company but have insufficient details so far. Certain details would suggest this company is not genuine.

Any time you have insufficient details, don't invest. And I don't really think an online forum is the place for the proper research. (You don't even know any of us.)

    At least, that's my opinion.

Isn't that the whole point of an online forum; to get advise, opinions and comments from others. I don't class this as proper research and I didn't realise this was a popularity contenst. Furthermore, I also didn't realise I had to KNOW you to post a question. Sorry for wasting your time...

You have completely misinterpreted what I had to say; more like twisted it entirely the wrong direction.

I NEVER said you had to know me to post a question. Would you please point out where I said that? I was saying I didn't think it was a good idea to take advice about investing in some specific, especially questionable, company just on the word of people you don't even know. How on earth did you re-interpret that to mean you're not allowed to post if you don't us????????????????

And what the heck is the deal about the popularity contest. Wherever did that even come from? I don't even have a clue what you're talking about.

I was giving you what I thought was the best advice I could, which was basically that I didn't think this was the appropriate place to gather your lack of details. If you're unable to find it in appropriate places, I just don't see how the word of a bunch of people online whom you don't even know is a better place to get it. You don't have to agree with it. That wasn't stopping anyone else from posting about the company. I stressed that it was how I felt about it, not how anyone else felt about it.

But if that's how you're going to interpret what I said, then I definitely am sorry I wasted my time posting to you at all.

It was an honest answer at least. If you don't want honesty, what are you asking for?
