    1989 Honda Civic
I have a 89 honda civic with dual point.. I was doing a wire tuck on the passangers side and I put the ECU inside the car and extended the wires.. but when I connected everything back up and went to start it ,it would turn over... the headlights work, radio, dam annoying door busser(of all the this I wish would quit that that wouldn't) anyway the car ran good before started every time.. idk what's wrong with it.. I put the wires back in the origanal position and still the same thing... so if you can help me out that would be awsome... I cheacked all the fises and there good, and I have power running to the ECU.. but from there I don't know what wrong.. iam not getting any error codes from the computer.. alll it does is flash one light and stopes and does nothing... any help?

You extended the wires how ? If you used crimp style fitting its possible you didn't get a wire correct. Another thing is did you disconnect the battery before you even touched the ecu? Were you properly grounded ?

I took some wire and attachted it from the positive termanial to the ecu and the same with the other wire that's connected to the harness that a little one and ran a wire inside... but I tried to start if after I did everything to it and it wouldn't start so I put it back to normal and it still won't start... and I thihnk I did but not 100%.. I have another ecu.. and a computer from a 88 civic.. I tried swaping computer but that did work... so I don't know... could a fuse the maie relay inside the car be the couse for this.. I mean the car ran good before I started doing my wire tuck.. I would have thought something would just randomly go on it...
