Thoughts about my wife doing something wrong.
First weekend alone with our little boy, 2 years soon. Well, story goes like this. Today my wife is away for the first time in our relationship. Without kids, and without here husband. There is drinking involved, party, and co workers. And I can't relax, I'm stressing around, and thinking about what she is doing. Of course I'm not calling here and bothering here. But I just can't relax... any ideas on how I can handle this feelings?

Yes! Go have some fun with your son. Take him to a carousel or a park. Or call up a friend who will keep you company and go with him to the park.

You are right not to ruin your wife's first time away from the family. She'll appreciate you more if you contain your anxiety.

Get out into the garden and do something physical. Take your boys out to the park, to a movie, for a drive, to the mall. Whatever.

Have you got any tangible reason to be worrying about what your wife is doing with her co-workers?

PS. My husband OFTEN was away at parties with coworkers, with alcohol. If you stress every time your spouse is out of sight, you'll just make yourself and your little boy miserable. For his sake and your own, trust your wife and be happy!

I know it's hard sometimes, but be strong.

No... she has never done anything to prove me wrong...

Well, in that case, let her have a good time and stop worrying! I mean really, why tempt fate by even thinking about it? You've heard of self fulfilling prophecies haven't you? Take control of your thoughts and tell yourself to stop. Haven't you got something better to do with your little boy? Focus on him, it's your chance to do some bonding.
