    Spot on tongue
I have a "U"-shaped spot on my tongue. It is red in the middle and surrounded by a white boarder. This is the fifth one I have had. It is on the top/lateral side of my tongue. I only get one at a time but they are always in the same area. The ones I have had in the past were more rounded and tend to get large (1 cm). I have had this condition for almost two months, no other symptoms. It is not painful at all! They usually last for a week and then go away, and a few days later another one will appear. Any idea what this could be?

    Hi, Cecelia08!

Why have you posted again on another thread about this?

Starting new threads about the same thing won't get you any different answers and only causes confusion here.

    Thanks!

Please only comment on my threads if you can provide an anwer to my question. You posted on my other thread that it was in the wrong forum, so I decided to create a new one in the appropriate forum only to discover that I cannot delete my old one. I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me some idea as to what might be causing my strange condition. If not, please don't leave any comments. Thank you!

I try to post with kindness and understanding. I'm also one of the moderators here, so I need to watch what's going on.
