The most stupid question...
If you file separate- jointly or as married together...
Does it make any difference or in the end it comes out to be the same?

It can make a BIG difference. For most married couples, you save substantially by filing as Married Filing Jointly compared to Married Filing Separate. There are exceptions however - for example if one spouse has significant medical expenses - so good practice is to try figuring your taxes both ways and see which is better.
