I bought an xbox 360 elite about 3 weeks ago, and its been working great up until a couple days ago. It was standing up vertically and I accidentally knocked it over. Not hard, but moderate to lightly. And it was on carpet, and ever since then, its been making a clicking noise. It will read the game I put in but then the picture won't come up. Now, I'm guessing this was caused by knocking it over, but with all the advanced technology we have today, I doubt it would stop working just by knocking it over lightly. I'm on vacation right now, but when I get back ill try to put in another game and if it still doesn't work, ill take it to get it fixed. Anyone ever had this problem? If so, what is it and is it fixable?

Most places have 30 day return/exchange periods. Exchange it for a new one if you can, but if you mention that you knocked it over they probably won't take it back.

I would avoid putting games in it until you exchange it. Discs have been known to shatter inside some XBox's.

Is it reading games?

When you put a game in does it make the noise and then display open tray again?
