    Just friends?
I'm in this situation right now. I knew a girl for a few weeks and we started to know each other better. I went on my first date with her last week and I thought she had a great time. The next few days after our date, she says that she can't have a boyfriend now and she doesn't like anyone at the moment. She just wants us to remain as "only friends". It could be her parents who are pressuring her to remain that way.. I still have feelings for her, but I think her feelings for me disappeared. Do you think it's possible for me to get back to how we used to be so I can somehow start over again? I'm really nervous because I see her tomorrow and I don't know how to start.

Should I just move on or keep fighting?

If you want some details, I'll be glad to give some.

Ask her directly if her feelings disappeared. If they have not, then keep fighting. Never mind her parents; it's about how the two of you feel about each other =)

Before, she said that she currently doesn't like anyone and doesn't want a boyfriend. :c
So I guess that's the nail in the coffin. But do you think that by knowing her more as a friend, I can somehow change her mind and stick with her?

It isn't a matter of trying to change her mind. You can't control her actions so don't try.

Just be honest with yourself and enjoy life. If you are happy and comfortable with yourself someone will come along one day who is ready for something a little more. There is nothing to fight for here. She said no, so move on and just be yourself around her. Don't even worry about what she is thinking or doing. When you see her just be polite and friendly. Don't try to win her over. It won't work.

There are loads of women out there that you'll be attracted to over time. Many will reject you, others won't. Don't let the rejection get you down. In fact smile in the face of it and know that the person who said no to you has missed a great catch. It's their loss, not yours.

It doesn't make sense to push against a brick wall does it? She is not ready for what you want so if you can't be friends move on with your life. You will get a lot of NO's in your life from females you like , don't let the NO's stop you from knowing some great females and having fun.

    I agree with Tal, completely.

Just be friends with her for now she made herself very clear, don't push or fight for anything.
