If the father goes to court seeking an order that you pay, chances are that he can get it.

I assume when you say that your child "went to spend 80% with father," you're referring to primary placement with the father.

Regardless of if you are working or not, it is your legal obligation to support your child.

You state that the father was ordered to pay support 14 years ago; that has no bearing on your situation now. If your child is not residing with and being provided for primarily by you, then you have no right to receive child support.

Did the father pay child support when it was ordered ?
