    On a 1998 Honda Accord, what does it mean if both the "SLS" and "maintenance" come on together at the same time?

    I had my dashboard lights come on. The SLS + ABS on my 2001 civic... I tried everything to fix it.

    I tried the dashboard RESET, disconnecting the Negative Battery, the plug reset with the paper clips under the wheel... Nothing worked.

    Then one day, I changed my ALTERNATOR... All the lights went out. It fixed everything. Go to the mechanic and they have a machine to tell how many volts your alternator is giving off... If its low, change alternator.

    Tumbz is right. When a number of dash lights start staying on, it usually indicates a problem with the alternator; e.g. the brushes being worn too far. Here's a link that will tell you how to easily test your alternator with a multimeter:
