Residential natural gas has only about 0.3 psi of pressure. Therefore very little. When you open the valve behind the stove - do you get any gas at all ?
Usually, gas valve would be somewhere where gas pipe is exposed and accessible, like basement, pantry or attic, sometimes it can be even turned off at the point of connection at the gas meter.
See if you can trace the pipe. Look in the attic, outside the house etc.
