Well myself and my boyfriend broke up for a while and in that time he had something on with a other girl, she is now pregnant and isn't sure who the father is my boyfriend that I am not back with or her boyfriend she cheated on. My boyfriend says that he loves me and that he wants to spend the rest of his life with me and that we are going to have our own family. He says that he will support the child if it turns out to be his but wants nothing to do with the child mother romantically. I love him, so how do I suport him without getting hurt and letting the child's mother get to me and our relationship?

It's a tough call because he will be connected to that girl and the baby for the next 18 years if it does happen to be his. Is he going to be in the child's life or just pay child support? Your boyfriend needs to figure these things out before he can do anything, and also needs to figure out paternity first and foremost.

The first thing you need to find out is whether he's actually the father. Time to go get tested.

Secondly, if he really is the father, you need to understand that he will forever be connected to his child and the mother of the child. So you're going to have to decide whether you can accept all those consequences before you can continue the relationship.

I wouldn't stress it until you find out whether the baby is his or not. Then once you find out you guys need to talk things over
