Hi! Steve, welcome to AMHD :)

From $65 to almost $1200 depends on the condition.
    See:
Type 16 Jefferson Davis 50.00 note 1861 in almost uncirculated condition

    Hi, steven blair!

Are you sure that what you have is a genuine article for the Civil War period? There have been many counterfeits made down through the decades of Civil War currency.

    Thanks!

Steve, The area down below my estimate is called a "Link to another site" (a hotlink) did you click on the link to see how I arrived at those figures?

If you scroll down on that page you will find seven examples of confederate currency, one of which is a T-66, an 1864 that in extra fine condition is worth $65.

Part of the fun in being a numismatist is in the research, and discovery of what you have, and what it is worth.
If your only claiming "good shape", it may not even be worth the paper its printed on.

Clough also has a good point 'bout counterfeits.
