My Maytag Performa washer, Model #PAVT344AWW, rev 10, timer is noisey during the cycle. It is approx 7 years old I live in the desert, and I know it is just dry, needs a drop of oil in the drive motor, but I can't figure out how to remove the timer knob without breaking it, so I can access the motor inside the timer. Anybody know how?
