hi , I need help with my concern.. i came here in the US June of 2009 and got my permanent residency ID last October 2009... my marriage is everything stressful since day one.. I have come to a decision to leave and go back to my home country (Philippines) than put with experiences of which i don't really need. I want to file a divorce as soon as possible, my question is, will my permanent residency be affected since I came here by virtue of a fiancee visa and marriage is the reason why i got the permanent residency ID... please help me.. thank you very much

Since you are conditional LPR, as soon as your divorce is final, your status will be automatically terminated, though your card is not expired.
