Can I use liquid nail to install ceramic tile to ceiling it's a single story home?

To answer some of your questions, I've done the following.


4" x 4" ceramic tile over a bath tub - thinset

Masonite glued to ceiling with liquid nails - hasn't fallen yet. It's probably been 25 years.

Mirror tile on a bathroom ceiling - double sided tape. (issues with expansion. Didn't use the spacer gizmos.
