It will hurt like forever. The same thing happened to me only someone dancing by stomped on it. No scar, pain went away. I never had it looked at, didn't need to.

Yes, it went away. You wouldn't believe how resilient our feet are. Mine more so then anyone. Stepped on many times by horses, fortunately in stalls where there was a lot of manure so my feet always sunk in with the hoof and didn't get too damaged.

That was one really big fat guy who stepped on mine at that dance though. You will recover.

Thanks so much for this thread. Same thing happened to me over two weeks ago - someone on the dance floor stepped on my foot and it still hurts! I'm starting to worry I'll have this pain for a long time. There is no swelling or noticeable anything going on except that it hurts to walk on.

@tickle How long did it take for the pain to go away?

Hoping it doesn't last too much longer for you, but same thing happened to me two weeks ago today. I got stepped on by a dancing friend who was stomping so hard with her thinner heel and it didn't hurt to dance the rest of the night. Got home and saw in the shower how black and blue it was and could then see a few days later the heel mark, PLUS a second one where she hit again after realizing she stepped on me the first time. Lol. It still does not hurt at all when I dance or walk on the bottom, but putting a shoe on I sure feel it on the top and the black and blue is getting less and less.. but there is a lump on top, too, and the black and blue still there is mostly around the toeline now.. not so much on the top. Adding to that, about a week after I had it happen to me, I was moving the scales (Glass digital ones) that had been sitting upright along the wall and the corner of it fell on the top of my foot.. just a fraction of an inch from where the first heel mark showed up on the foot. I am sure that created the lump I feel now. Just will be glad when it stops hurting on the top!
