My boyfriend and I (we both have been married once before - he got divorced four years ago... and I five years ago) where engaged to be married in 3 months. We have lived together for the past year. He now wants to call off the engagement and just live together and not think about getting married. He says he is "very committed to me", however, I am feeling like if he was, why did he call off the engagement? It is hard to think about going backwards in a relationship and not forward... thoughts?

You need to discuss this with him and ask him what his issues are.

If you are not on the same page as regards marriage you should reconsider the relationship rather then allowing him to call the shots.
