Canadian juvenile records used in american immigration
    Hello,
I am a Canadian citizen (29) married an American citizen. I am now applying for immigration. When I was 17 I was arrested for attempted robbery. I was offered a deal from the crown and took it. This way if I was found guilty I didn't have to do jail time.
I served 100 hours of community service. I was not charged as an adult. When I applied to university, they required a criminal background check. This came back as "may or may not have a criminal record"
    1. do I need to disclose this information to immigration?
    2. can homeland security have access to my juvenille record?
    3. what is the best option for me?
    4. will I be granted a visa?

    Thank you

You must disclose all info about your record to immigration even it's expunged. If you fail to disclose this info and immigration found this out later, you visa will be denied/revoked.

Since you have record, it's recommended to have immigration attorney take care of your issue.
