I am using Yahoo and gmail web based email services but I can not read my emails off line.what shoud I do?

I don't know about Yahoo but with GMAIL you have to configure your email address to enable POP. This then allows you to access it via a client such as outlook express, outlook, thunderbird, incredimail etc.

To do this, log into your gmail account and click Settings at the top of the screen.

Click on Forwarding and Pop

In the POP Download section, enable POP to your preference, either for any new mail which is received or for all mail (this will allow you to grab everything you have ever received so can take ages to download :)

Click on the Save Changes button.

You are now returned to your inbox.

Go back to Pop and Forwarding section in settings and it will tell you how to configure a range of email clients.

Get EPrompter (www.eprompter.com). This will allow you to periodically download your Yahoo and GMail mail (along with others) so you can read them offline.
