    Briggs and stratton wiring
I need to completely rewire a 15.5 briggs( 28N707). Start, run and kill is all I need.

I have a 2 pole toggle switch and a 2 pole push button. Need basics only.

    Building a home made tractor.

    Thanks, Confussed in La.

    Hi,
It would be fairly simple. The toggle would be used for the ignition and would involve the switch having the frame ground on one side and the ignition ground on the other (the problem being that Off is On and On is Off.)
The push button is a bit more problematic in that, unless it is a high current switch, you will still need a solenoid (which is) to be triggered by it. Any three terminal solenoid will work with the battery hooked to one side and the cable to the starter to the other. At the battery side run a wire to one side of the push button switch and the other side goes to the small switching terminal of the solenoid. That pretty much does it!
    Peace,
    Clarke
