    Why does 1 bathroom water run hotter than the other
    I have 2 bathrooms both on first floor, in one shower the water runs cooler than the other can you tell me why this happens? Thanks for the input

    Hey John, No, there are 3 valves with shower handle in the middle, but they look pretty old. Just moved in, so not sure.

    The shower handle in the middle is the diverter which diverts water from the tub to the shower, in your case it seems that you may have some debris in hot port of the faucet and the only thing that I can suggest to shut water to shower, remove the stems turn on the water for a second to flush out and debris out, also you say they are very old then it is time to change the washers at the end of the stems, see the images, Thanks.
