How to change an external gfi outlet
I have an external outlet that is GFI and it is tripped and will not reset.
I cannot find a circuit breaker in the circuit breaker box to isolate this outlet?
I assume that I should be able to isolate so that it can be removed.
The house is only 4 years old.
Thanks for any advice I can get.

There s one circuit breaker in the panel(s) to shut off this outlet, Shut off one at a time to find it.

You can shut off the Main breaker also, course this shuts off the entire home.

If neither of these work to shut off power to the outlet, you have more serious problems.

If this is a condo, or some other sort of multi-family dwelling, then it may be a common area outlet supplied by a landlord panel.

Is there power to the outlet? GFCI's will NOT reset if there is no power to them.
