Jeremy Rymes is a waiter at the Duluxe Lounge. In his first weekly pay in March, He earned 120.00 for the 40 hours he worked. In addition , he reported his tips for February to his employer(450.00) and the employer withholds the appropriate taxes for the tips from this pay in March. Calculate his net take home pay assuming the employer withheld fedral income tax(wage bracket married 2 allowances), social security taxes and state income tax (2%). On the wage Beacket for 450 it's shows 17.00 and 18.00. For 120 it shows 0. How would I calculate this problem.

How do I find the wage hour for

    315 per week
    1700 per month
    2350 per month
    1510 per month
    52,000 per year

The answer I came up with are

    315.00 7.88 per hour
    1700.00 9.81 per hour
    2350.00 13,56 per hour
    1510 8.71 per hour
    52000.00 24.96 per hour

Okay, I'll cut you some slack!

For the week, divide the gross pay by the standard 40 hour work week.

For the month, divide the gross pay by the standard 22-day/176 work month.

For the year, the standard is 2,080 hours.

If the weekly pay was 315 I divide this by 40 and I get 7.875
Do I round this to 7.88
Cause when I round it it give me an answer of 315.20 which his pay was 315 a week.

    If I got paid 1700 a month I divide this 1700 by 176

    52000 I divide this by 2080
