I'm not pregnant but why is my period late
So I was on birth control for my ovarian cysts, and for a couple days I forgot to take some, and me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex thinking that I would be okay, well, my period was supposed to be a couple days after we had done it, and it didn't come. So I waited a week to test and I tested twice and they came back negative. I have been excersizing a lot, but I started excersizing two weeks before my last period and (two weeks later) I still had one. But now I'm late. If the test results say I'm not pregnant, am I? I don't know what to do unless I should wait again another week and try to test again. Any advice?

Well you don't know you are not pregnant, since even if taking pills correctly they are not 100 percent, and if you miss them or don't take them properly, it greatly increases the odds.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I new a week later. I just felt it. So I took a test and it said negative. I just figured I wanted it so bad that I mad myself believe I was. But then my peroid never came. So 3 weeks after still having this feeling I took another test and it was positive. So I went to the dr to confirm and yup I was. Most of those test you have to wait 2 weeks to get an actual answer also take it first thing in the morn when you wake up. Better results... I did however, have a friend who was in track and ran all the time and hardly ever ate and she never had a normal peroid so it could be that... if you want to know asap go to your dr and have a blood test done they can tell you right away... good luck

Wait another week. If you still don't get your period, test again using first morning urine. If that is still negative, time for to make an appointment with your doctor for a blood test.
