Want to cure PCOS and get pregnant soon.
Hi I did my ultrasound and was found positive for PCOS.The gynec told me to reduce my weight(i.e 71kgs height:5ft4inches)n prescibed me glycomet, susten and folvite tabs for 20 days. I was midway of completing the course of these tablets as I got my peeriods.I had irregular periods as well.I was also prescribed letroz- to be taken from 2nd day of period-for 5 days,folygel-to be taken for 30 days to be taken and microgest tabs-to be taken from 16th day following periods. But mistakenly, I realised now that I took microgest tabs for 2 days along with letroz n folygel, instead of the 16th day of period. Is there any harm in it? My ovaries are sized-Right ovary-3.1*1.9*2.5cms- Volume-7.7ml. Left Ovary-3.4*2.0*2.7cms-Volume-9.8ml. Please let me know whether I will conceive soon as I want to. Also, will the above medication cure my PCOS?

I'm not sure there is a cure for pcos for I too have it, I know that doctors often tmes treat the symptoms of pcos, one at a time or all together, I had no luck with meformin, ( generic for glucophage) or a regimen of other pills and supplements I was on, when I finally did conceive, it was onn the second round of femara and provera,
(provera was to start my period seeing as how I had one period every several months and went as long as 14 months without) femara is a drug similar to clomid, I have a happy healthy 3 month old now, good luck and feel free to talk to me I will help as much as I'm able

It sucks tohave to have to wait around for it to happen, and it can take years but its not impossible and the wait is well worth it
