    Kitchen sink sprayer pulsates
When we use our kitchen sink sprayer, it pulsates. It never used to do this, it has just started recently. Any thoughts? Thanks,

    Michele??

    Kitchen sink sprayer pulsates
Good morning Michele, Sounds like the diverter has a bit of trash caught under the seat not allowing it to close completely. The diverter is a small flap that snaps shut and closes off the flow to the spout when you trigger the spray. When the water rushes by it sets up a vibration, hence your pulsating spray. The diverter lies under the spout in the valve body. You will have to turn off the water and remove the handle and retaining nut. The spout should pull straight up and the diverter is at the base of the valve body. Remove it and clean the seat. To tell you more I would need the name of the faucet and how old it is. Good luck. Tom
