    Old showerhead stuck
Hi, we wanted to put a new shower in the guest bathroom but can't get the old fixture off. It was an old waterpik style handheld with metal attatchment to pipe coming out of the wall. In trying to get the metal nut(I guess that is what it is) off it seems as if the pipe is bending so we quit... Is there any trick to getting it loose... or should we call a plumber... :(

You will need two 14" pipe wrenches. Put one on the nut and reverse the other one on the curved "goose neck" pipe coming out of the wall and putt agaist each other. Since both are made of brass they won't rust together. Once you break the grip on the threads, they should unscrew quite easy. Good luck, Tom
