    How do I have a business assets frozen
    I was awarded community property by the judge my husband own a corporation and have not paid me as ordered so I want to freeze all assets until I get paid. The Corpration papers is in his son's name.

    You have to go back to court and first hold him in contempt and then get an order to compell.

    If the business is incorporated then it is a separate legal entity. This means you can't have it's assets frozen. Also if the incorporation papers are in his son's name he dosen't even have tie to it unless he gets a paycheck which is what you would need to get. If he gets a regular paycheck from the company then you may be able to have the judge order to with hold a certain percentage from his pay but even that depends on how the taxes are done.

    Are you saying it's his corporation but it's in the son's name? The court could possibly deal with a sham transaction like that.
