Kitchen sinks won't drain at all
My double kitchen sink was a slow drain that has turned into a sink that does not drain at all. Help! If it is a venting problem where exactly do I look for a vent or an air admittance valve? These were mentioned in previous articles.. which is great if you know what and where they are! :) We tried running a lot of hot water previous and did get a sewer smell in the upstairs bathroom? It was very cold weather at this time?! anything you can tell me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.. Nancy

Is this the only drain and/or supply problem you have? Remove the trap and rod straight into the pipe coming out of the wall. You will hit a 90 elbow about 6" inside so use a small 1/4" snake. You vent stack may be the problem and that needs rodding from the roof, roof to basement plus 20' more. Where do you live
