    Moen kitchen faucet removal
I am trying to remove my moen kitchen faucet with the center nut. The nut won't move. Is this a standard nut where counterclockwise will unscrew it? Any suggestions on how to get his nut to move?

I had to take a dremmel tool and cut the dog gone thing off. After that it was a breeze.

Glad you got it, cutting the nut is an easy way to take care of the problem, good job. And yes, it's a normal thread, counterclockwise to remove. There is a tool that meon makes that will give you more leverage on the nut, basically the equivalent of a very deep well plastic socket. The socket is nice for installing new fuacets, but in your case, I assume you are replacing the complete faucet, so cutting that sucker out was the best route for you.
