I'm writing a story, and one of my characters has a Russian background. She's sort of a mother/big sister figure to another couple of other characters. I wanted her to call one of them something in Russian. I liked "my brave one," which, according to the free (and automated) translation on freetranslation.com, is мой храбрый. I'll believe that. But there's no way to get it translated from actual Russian to phonetic Russian, which is what I need for a story written by and for the average English speaker/reader. If anyone could help me out with this, that'd be amazing.

Also, if you had any other ideas for little nicknames from a woman to a boy (no romantic insinuations at all), and a woman to a man (innocently romantic), then that would be quite beyond amazing, and a big help. Thanks ever so!
