    Stomach bug or pregnant?
About 2-3 weeks ago I sarted to think I may be pregnant. After eating spicy food out one night along with an adult drink I felt really nauseaous. Days went by and I felt fine. Then after 3-5 days I had the same feeling after eating something somewhat spicy again. I started feeling nauseaous and kind of sick to my stomach more and more throughout the days of the week, mostly at night. Last week I had diarrhea for most of the week. Since then my stomach has felt very weird... almost like it is bubbly. I had a low grade fever 2 days ago and started cramping yesterday. I was also constipated yesterday morning. My boobs have also been a little sore the past 2 days. I took an at home pregnancy test 2 days ago and it was negative. These symptoms come and go and I don't know if I am pregnant or if it is just a stomach bug. My son does have the stomach bug now, so I am very confused. One last thing that makes this a hard one is that I have been on the Depo shot for 5 yrs now and have not had a period since, so I can't use that to help me determine which one is correct. Can anyone help me?

Have you taken a pregnancy test? That's the first step.

Yes.. and it said no, but I am still feeling sick to my stomach. It is not every day either. The doctor told me to wait 2 more weeks to see if I am still feeling the same and that sometimes it is too early for a hom epregnancy test to tell. That is too long to wait.

It's frustrating, but your dr is right. You just have to wait. Obviously, if your fever won't go away, or you keep getting sick or experiencing diarrhea, you might want to talk to your dr about other possible causes. But if you're pregnant, it may not show up for a while. It's not like taking extra tests will hurt anything but I wouldn't expect different results if there's not some time between the tests.
