    What is customization?
    I will have a presentation regarding adaptation and customization in international marketing. I need detailed definitions and explanations. I appreciate your help.

    Thank you very much for key words. What is the difference between customization and adaptation?

    1) customize, transitive verb, -ized, -izing.to make specially for a customer; make to order.
    Ex. Executive interiors customized to fit your own firm's requirements (Wall Street Journal).

    2) adaptation, noun.
    1a. The act of adapting; changing to fit; adjustment (to different circumstances or conditions, usually over a period of time).
    Ex. He made a good adaptation to his new school.
    b. the condition of being adapted or made to fit.
    Ex. His adaptation to school away from home was painful and lonely.
    2. something made by changing to fit different conditions.
    Ex. A motion picture is often an adaptation of a novel.
    3. a change in structure, form, or habits to fit different conditions.
    Ex. Wings are adaptations of the front limbs for flight.
    4. adjustment of a sense organ, as the eye, to varying conditions.
