What kind of tests did your doctor do?

Do you douche, use powder, anything?

It sounds like you may be allergic to something. Have you changed laundry detergents, bought different underwear?

We can only guess. Personally, I'd get a second opinion from another doctor.

If you are still having problems a month after seeing the doctor, you need to go back again. What didn't show up before in the tests could show up now.

Also, until you heal, refrain from having intercourse. You could be keeping the area irritated to the point where it can't heal itself.

What form(s) of birth control are you using? Could it be causing part of the irritation?

Did you change anything like toilet paper, laundry detergent, bath soap, etc. just before you first noticed the irritation?

Am not take any brith control cause am 8 months pregnant that is also why I have not been using a douche. I have change to toilet paper. But I don't think that's what has cause my irriation. I can't recall what was the name of the test that the doctor gave me but I aksed if the irriation could be sings of a std he said he didn't think so but we will have to wait for the test and that it would let us know if there was any kind of infection.I have still been having intercourse. I went to my doctors when he was off for the holidays to see how the test went and the lad told me that she was not allowed to read me my test but she did and she said that every thing came back fine just heavy vol. of yeast

It is extremely common in pregnancy to get yeast infections (I had that problem with my pregnancies and they itch like crazy) because your body chemistry is not normal. You could very easily have the beginnings of one. They are easy to cure if that is the problem. Only your doctor can tell you if it is your problem.

One big thing is keeping the skin clean and making certain that you pat dry (not rub) the affected area. It is less damaging to the skin. If you don't already, you might try wearing cotton underwear allows the natural moisture to evaporate more easily than nylon or satin type materials.

Take care of yourself and call your doctor to find out more information and hopefully get some relief. :)

If it is a yeast infection and you are pregnant, then over the counter and prescription meds aren't recommended.

Here's what I use, because my body is resistant to over the counter yeast infection meds.

    Yogurt. No flavor, plain, yogurt.

Eat it, eat it, eat it. It will help with the yeast infection, may even get rid of it all together.

    Good luck. :)

I think it's a yeast infection (Those things are HELL). Ask your doctor to write a prescription for Dulfican.

Fallen, she is pregnant. She needs to ASK her doctor what to do for it (IF if is a yeast infection). The doctor can prescribe what he/she thinks would be safest for mother and baby.

Luckily, Diflucan is safe in pregnancy. I hand it out like candy at the hospital. ;)

I am glad it is safe. I just worry about telling someone straight out what to ask for instead of telling them to get a proper diagnosis and then what can help.

I hope the op has gotten back to her doctor to get a diagnosis instead of guessing from a remark by someone not allowed to give official information.

Fallen, I do not respond to pm's about things that should be kept on the public board. It is a matter of the information should be handled here and not in private.

Please, post here what you sent in the pm. (For the record), it was information about the op's question and the drug suggested in Fallen's deleted post.

One of the reasons I love this site is the openness of the information.
