I want to find my biological dad but my mum won't tell me and I have tried several times

I am in the same boat as you what one of my friends auntie told me to do is try to find out where your hospital that you were born at sends the birth records and get ahold of them and ask them. But I think it only works if your dad was there when you were born or maybe your mom has to write down his name? But yeah that is what I was told to do
