I had a levy place on xmas eve 12/24/09 wiped out my accounts, spoke with credit card co, missed a payment , got a judement and this is my problem , had 2 accounts one mine another joint account , now it seem that the bank has this money in a holding account , bank said call sheriff to have them release it, and sheriff said I have to talk to bank or I need to wait until credit card co contact them to take the money it might take up to 90days I feel like a sitting duck... quack... quack please is there anyone

Once you have a judgement there is no sense contacting the cc company
They got what they wanted. The bank has to follow the court order so if you have your name on a joint account with a person who does not have a judgement it will be up to that person to go to court and prove which funds is theirs and not yours
In order for you to get the levy off YOUR account is to either pay it or in the worst case file bankruptcy but that will take a while
