I was married and I filed for divorce my husband and I both signed papers and before
I was married and I filed for divorce my husband and I both signed papers and they were filed with the courts. Well in the meantime we got back together but we did not apply for new marriage certificate or blood test neither did we stop the divorce preceedings. Now this marriage is over and I want to know if I need to start divorce preceedings all over. Or since I am on file as being married, then divorced and never legally remarried (with certificate) am I legally divorced and can move on with my life free of my husband?

I'm confused - you filed for divorce, it wasn't granted, you reconciled, you then got divorced? Is that the order of things? I don't know what you mean by getting a new marriage certificate.

Did you divorce, reconcile, REMARRY and then divorce (again)?

We married in 1982. In, May 2000 filed for divorce and it is on file at courhouse and is final. June 2000 we reconciled, but we never went an paid for a new marriage license and took another blood test. Now I want out and since all is on record at county courthouse is married 1982 and divorced 2000. I want to know if I am already divorced?

Unless you REMARRIED - and it does not appear that you did - you do not need to get divorced (again). A lot of people divorce, reconcile, split for good. You do not divorce unless you are married and it does not appear that you are.
