Teeth extraction hospital london ontario
My brother is in a long-term care home in London. He is confined to a wheelchair (paralyzed on his left side). Looking at posts on your website, you mention that extractions can be done at a hospital and OHIP "may" pay if the patient is "medically compromised". What constitutes "medically compromised"? He visited a clinic in December for an assessment, and it was recommended that he have his teeth extracted and that he be fitted for dentures. He has several teeth that are broken off at the gum line and most likely are infected. He is a senior and is on a very limited income. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Obviously, we are looking for the most cost-effective solution.
