Why is my AFCI constantly tripping?
I have two bedrooms in my basement with two AFCI breakers (one for each br). One of the bedrooms keeps tripping. It seems like it is happening more and more frequently. I am afraid of a fire soon. Why is the breaker tripping? Should I just replace it or have the wiring looked at by an electrician?

Does it trip when other bedroom is used, when you turn on a light, when?
What are you using when it trips?

An Electrician may swap the 2 ARC Faults to determine if it is the Breakers or the circuit causing the trip.

It has tripped the past two nights. Last night only the ceiling fan was on and of course my alarm clock was plugged in. The night before that the TV was on along with the fan and my alarm clock. I am not sure if the other br is being used by someone in the house as I am asleep... however I do not believe that they have used it.

I would swap ARC Faults and Determine if it is the Breaker or the Circuit.
