What can I do having type 2 diabetes to get rid of the belly fat?
Ok here is the situation as of now, I lost sixty pounds then became diabetic type 2. Now I have most of my body toned. However I still have abdominal fat over my core muscles. What can I do? For all the doctor(s) and trainers don't have an answer thus far.
    Thank you

Clean up your diet, and cut out the refined and processed carbs. If you are eating a lot of refined carbs now (things like sugar, candy, bread, pasta, chocolate, cornflakes, white rice, pizza, fries, sodas etc), then you need to talk to your doctor about adjusting your medication if necessary.

Eat lots of whole fresh food. Things like oily fish, green vegetables, fresh meat and chicken, raw nuts and seeds, olive oil, cottage cheese, fresh fruit (not juice, whole fruit only), whole grains like oatmeal.

A lot of belly fat is one of the early signs of metabolic syndrome, which often leads to type 2 diabetes.

Thank you for the answers. I have cleaned up my diet. Once in a while mainly due to major stress I will slip up on having sugar stuff like cookies (mainly). The change of life diet per se was the one that helped me lose the previous 60 pounds prior to becoming a diabetic.
