    Eviction notice
    Want to evict my 23 year old he and his mom say I need to serve him an eviction notice, he is in collage and pays no rent I am on unemployment, having financial problems, and being very disrespected. What do I do?

    How do I evict 23 year old son, he's in collage, pays no rent, but has been very disrespectful to me I want him out his mom says no. they tell me I need to get eviction papers to get him out of my home. I can't support someone who doesn't respect me at all

    You need to legally evict him. You have to go to the Court in your area that handles evictions and follow the necessary procedure.

    There is a site at the heading of this thread which will give you the requirements for your particular State.

    Or post your State and I will get the info for you.

    So you give him a written notice to move, I believe NJ is 30 days, I am sure another expert will be along to confirm the right number of days.

    Then if they are not out, you file in court for an official eviction, have a hearing and if he still does not move, the court moves him out

    ** I will assume you are divorced and his mom is a ex wife and does not have any ownership in the house
