I am having a problem paying child support and I am falling in the rears fast . I have made a bunch of life changes to try to keep up with it . And I am not doing it to well . I have gone from a two bedroom to a one bedroom now I rent a room . Just to let you know I am a very hard worker and I have applied for job s with no luck. Please help. Thanks wayne hadfield

But you might need to check with whom ever is controlling your child support. I don't know where you are located and I don't pretend to know the laws, but I do know that some counties and states will amend the amount you are paying, so that it is not a hardship for you.

If there has been a substantial change in your ability to pay you have to apply for a modification.

And, no, the Federal Government doesn't pay child support - they already help with food stamps, medical bills, housing, etc.
