There's this guy that likes me but I'm n a longterm relationship.what do I do?
I have been in this relationship for a year and four months with someone very amazing and speacial to me. And that I am ohnestly in love with. I know people arnt perfect, but I don't want to lose him, and this other guy likes me that they both hate each other, and he has been trying to get with me for a very longtime now. And like I said I have been and this relationship with my boyfriend for a 1yr n 4 mnths almost 5 n 7 days. What do I do. How do I tell this guy that I have known for 3 years and that has liked me and wanted to be with me, that I'm in love and I love my boyfriend, can't we just be friends? Without him never speaking to me again or getting me into trouble?like telling my boyfriend that I have called him a couple times. how? Please help..

You can't control the way he will respond to your rejection. What you should do is be honest with him about your feelings.

You say, "I'm honored that you like me, but I am very happy in my relationship with my boyfriend."

And leave it there. As I wish said, you can't control his reactions, but you must be honest and tell him what you want.

You tell him that you're not interested. How he handles that is his choice.
Keeping him as a friend shouldn't be a priority.

Say "I am in a relationship with (enter your boyfriends name) and am very happy, I do appreciate the compliment that you like me but it must stop at friendship, I do hope you understand"

Be honest with both him and your boyfriend. Let him know that you care about him as a friend and that is as far that relationship will go. Tell your boyfriend that you are handling a personal situation and you aren't certain how that person will respond when you ask him/her to back off. If you are open and honest with your boyfriend, then nothing the 'friend' says should be able to hurt your romantic relationship.

If you think he is actually capable of 'getting you in trouble' out of spite because you are honest with him, then maybe you should think very carefully about whether you want him in your life as a friend or not.

Fear of reprisal is not a good reason to keep any relationship going. It is tantamount to emotional blackmail.
