What to do with a harassing neighbor in PA? She has harassed me from day one 6 yrs ago.. Now she is coming onto my property and leaving nasty letters taped to my front door. What can I do to stop this... I just want to live my life in peace... Thanks!

If she is leaving nasty notes threatening to do you bodily harm or trash any of your property by all means please contact the police and make a formal report. Then if anything happens to you or your property they will have someone to look at.

I had a neighbor who thought it hilarious to paste a note on my door threatening me with bodily harm. I called the police and they took it very seriously. I gave the police a copy of the threatening note and kept the original just in case he did decide to hurt me. The cop went next door and spoke with this jerk and he admitted leaving the note on my door. After the cop spoke with him he backed off big time. I have no idea what the cop said to him but whatever it was it worked.

Basically, the cops can't do anything about someone yelling at you but once the person puts it in writing and comes onto your property and posts the note on your door they have gone too far. The cops can't arrest him for the note but they can arrest them later on and get the charges to stick better.

You might consider getting a security camera. Catch them trespassing, then you can press charges.

I believe good fenses make good neighbors.

So what do the notes say ? Have their been phsycial threats

She needs to post the No Trespassing signage prior to pressing any charges for trespassing, I believe.

In the note, she calls me a hog, because she can hear me and my husband having intimate moments. And that we "must be on drugs to be doing it like rabbits". That I am an unfit mother, and that we deal drugs was some of the things she wrote.

I have said but 2 words to this women in 6 yrs. I have not even given her a dirty look. But for some reason, she enjoys harassing me. She has accused me of "almost" hitting her car. She had called me a crack addict in front of my then 11 yr old son...
